KESD Student Place 1st & 2nd in Their Grade Group in the Vermont Fish Art Contest

ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ is proud to announce that two students within our school district were announced winners yesterday in the national Art of Conservation Fish Art Contest. This contest was open to grades K-12 (5-18 years). Students were asked to select a fish species to research, create an illustration of the species, and write a one-page creative writing essay.
Congratulations to Briar Carpenter from Sutton School, who won 2nd place in the Vermont Grades K-3 category.
We would also like to give a big congratulations to Emilia Brothers from Miller's Run School who placed 1st in the Vermont Grades 7-9 category.
