ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ Receives Grant to Certify 6th & 8th Grade Students & Staff in First Aid, CPR and AED

January 8, 2023

The KESD is very pleased to share an exciting opportunity.  We received a grant last year and were able to purchase equipment to certify students and staff in First Aid/CPR/AED.  This will help build the next generation of Heartsavers.  Our goal is to get our students prepared for real life emergencies. You never know when you’ll need to save a life!

All KESD 6th and 8th grade students will be participating in a First Aid/CPR/AED certification class. Each student can make a difference in their school, district, and community when they become First Aid/CPR/AED certified, creating more qualified lifesavers in the world.

Our goal for the grant is that 100% of 6th & 8th grade students and 100% of KESD staff will be CPR/First Aid/AED certified.  We will be partnering with Lyndon Rescue to provide training to certify students.

Lyndon Rescue will be coming to the school to certify 6th and 8th grade students between now and spring 2024.

Please contact your students school with any questions about this CPR/First Aid/AED Certification.
